For those who do not know me, my name is Kaarthik Sivashanmugam and my friends call me as SK.
I received my Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree from the School of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Anna University, Chennai, India and Master of Science (M.S.) degree from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Georgia, Athens, GA, USA.
After graduating from Anna University, I worked as a Business Intelligence Services Consultant at Sonata Software Ltd, Bangalore for about an year before coming to USA to pursue higher education.
Upon graduating from University of Georgia, I started working as a Software Engineer at Semagix, Inc. at Athens, Georgia.
In January of 2006, after two and one-half years at Semagix playing different roles like Software Engineer, DBA, Program manager, I quit Semagix to join Microsoft Corporation at Redmond, Washington.
